So you want to affiliate

That's probably why you came here anyways, didn't you? If you didn't I just assume you clicked on this page randomly or something. Anyways, I'd love to affiliate, but unfortunately we have some little rules you have to follow to become and stay one. I know, BOO.

Requirements

Think you can handle them? (Come on, they really aren't THAT hard to cope with) Apply by emailing me at kaylee@dolloff.net or shadow.lugia991@gmail.com. I check both regularly, but sending it to my dolloff.net email address might get through better. Be sure to include your name so I know what to call you, your site name/url so I know what I'm linking to, and why you want to affiliate, which is important. And no, "I like your site" and "I need affiliates" aren't valid answers. Don't forget that you and I should know each other one way or another before you apply. I have this rule because affiliates aren't "tools", they're friends as well. Uh...okay, I'm starting to sound like my schoolteacher when she starts lecturing so I should stop talking now.
Oh, and one more thing. (Yes, I know you're getting tired and I'm sorry about that) Don't post in the tagboard asking to affiliate, I just don't think that really gives you some time to give some reasonable statements and such. You could post saying that you sent an email so I can check it, but that's different. Okay, I promise that's the last of my lecturing.

How do I know if I've been accepted or rejected?

Good question. If you're accepted, I'll reply to the affiliation email saying that you've been accepted and you'll wake up and see your link here. If you're rejected, I'll reply telling you why you've been rejected and what you should work on. Of course, you could ask to be a link exchange if you want more time to work on your site, then maybe ask when you feel ready. If you're rejected you can reapply as often as you like, but only when you think you're ready. There's no rush.
